★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Employees fought loudly between them in the middle of the bar while we where there. The place was not exactly neat, unwelcoming at most. Double check prizes before buying anything.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you like to stay with people with good heart then this is a great place for you. Pietro is the best host ever. He cares for us personally and is very cheerful, dedicated to all the guests. It feels like staying with a family. He cried when we left and that makes me cry too. I love this place, it is not luxury or anything but you would feel like home and feel very safe with Pietro. It is challenging to walk to the hotel from the Funiculare Brunate but just call them and Niccola will come and pick you up so it is not a problem. Food is great with the best price in the area.
I would love to come back again and reccomend this to anyone who likes authentic and loving experience with a true italian way of life. Thank you Pietro and Niccola!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Venice, Como and Milan, and this restaurant at the top of Brunate was the highlight of our trip. First, you have to take the funicular to Brunate. Then you have to hike to the lighthouse. From there you can either stop for a drink/food or keep going on a wide trail through the trees and along houses. The whole hike is quite exhausting, but the view from this restaurant is well worth it. The owner is super nice. They make their own salami and cheese. Everything is homemade and delicious, especially the polenta. If you want to getaway from the crowds, this is the place to go!
