★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Outstanding restaurant serving a range of Italian meat, seafood, and pasta dishes. Our party had the red fish, fusillini with red sauce, beef tartare, roast pork, and eggplant parmesan. All were presented beautifully, with interesting interpretations of each dish while still holding true to the original concept. Serving size were perfect, generous but not excessive. Extensive wine selection. We ordered the tiramisu, chocolate lava cake, and pistachio parfait (with rich caramel sauce and crumble cookies). We demolished every dish and were in heaven with the desserts. We just stumbled across this restaurant, and are so happy we did. Located on the main piazza. Menu is only in Italian, but one of the waiters knew enough English to explain the dishes to us. Service was very good. If you are in the area, highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good if you’re going for an evening apperitivo, refreshing drinks served with crisps and snacks etc. However my attention was diverted by the sound of a punchy 4-cylinder which 40-odd years ago would have been the nightmare of every rally competition. I couldn’t be sure, but the sound undoubtedly sent shivers down my spine. When I saw the four yellow headlights coming at me, I knew that it definitely was, the car that was the dominator of the group B rally scene in the 80’s, the car with the martini livery and the car that cemented its name into racing history. The Lancia Delta Intergrale, this is the car that was outright banned by the FIA. This was living evidence that Lancia has seen better days, not today’s pathetic ‘ypsilon’. This was the real thing. I was left speechless, 0-60 in 5.7 seconds was monstrous from a 4-door hatchback. As you will see from the images I have attached, it was a beautiful ice white. Like a December morning when your nan already has the kettle on when you get downstairs and you look out the window at the rolling English countryside, that shade of white. I’m sorry for this car review, if you’re looking for a more restaurant focused review, I don’t have it. Thanks for reading!
