β β β β β We arrived and the restaurant was empty and they sat us next to the bar. We ordered the food and a good wine. We complained about the temperature so they installed a vintage fan that was ineffective due to the fact that it was aimed too high. The food was OK but the manzo was a bit tough and served up with a couple of slices of bimbo bread. We observed other people placed in the same section of the restaurant and when they complained they were informed that there was air conditioning in the rest of the restaurant and they were moved. Unless you are Italian or even more exactly from Bassano del grappa side step these peasants. I could understand if the rest of the restaurant was full but it was 15% full when we left. Leave it to the locals At best I would describe the food as mediocre but this nasty attitude to new clients is reprehensible.

β β β β β If I could I would give 7 stars! A feast for your senses. The food extraordinary (tuna tartar, risotto with seasons vegetables), the wine list great (Pinot Noir), the desserts amazing (Amarettone something). If you are in the area DON'T miss a dinner here.

β β β β β Great restaurant near the center of charming Bassano del Grappa. We enjoyed a leisurely Saturday lunch in September. The restaurant was full, mainly with Italians, people out shopping, etc. A very local feel. Despite the name βBirrariaβ more people were drinking wine than beer. Food, atmosphere and service were all excellent. A good find.
