Alcuni clienti, forse di casa, si servono addirittura da soli. I gave three stars not for the cuisine (extremely homemade), but rather, for the unconventional service. Some customers, perhaps at home, even serve themselves.

Insomma è da assaggiare per capire. Excellent home cooking and own products. Among all the goodness, I point out the excellent deviled chicken with country chicken raised on site. La nota dolente è stato il pagamento, io capisco che si tratta di un'attività ancora tradizionale ma nel 2020 non mi si può non far pagare con carta di credito. Inoltre ed è la cosa più sorprendente mancava la differenziazione dei costi delle varie pietanze, tutte avevano lo stesso prezzo. A mio parere un piatto di pasta al sugo non costa come uno di lasagne e via di seguito. All'arrivo del conto ho chiesto un resoconto dettagliato dei costi dei nostri ordini e non mi è stato fatto, cosa scorrettissima ed irregolare. Qualsiasi pietanza aveva lo stesso prezzo fatto in modo forfettario come si suol dire in gergo. Ovviamente il pranzo ci è andato di traverso...nel 2020 non si può lavorare così, senza trasparenza e visibilità dei costi di quella che si acquista. We went to Donato's for Sunday lunch, the place and the food were to our taste even though by telephone he was asked to prepare vegetable side dishes and the side dishes were not made, there were only two: chips and salad. The sore point was the payment, I understand that it is still a traditional activity but in 2020 I cannot not be paid by credit card. Furthermore, and the most surprising thing, there was no differentiation of the costs of the various dishes, all of which had the same price. In my opinion, a plate of pasta with sauce does not cost as much as one of lasagna and so on. Upon arrival of the bill I asked for a detailed account of the costs of our orders and it was not done to me, which is very incorrect and irregular. Any dish had the same flat-rate price as they say in the jargon. Obviously, lunch went wrong ... in 2020 you can't work like this, without transparency and visibility of the costs of what you buy.

Ambiente tranquillo prezzi modici. Consigliato per chi ama la cucina casereccia.. Excellent food, very kind owner, the escarole soup with meatballs and chicken (free range) a goodness, good wine but not great deserves 4 stars, Large portions. Quiet environment moderate prices. Recommended for those who love home cooking ..
T	Todd Munk on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Impossible to know when they're open unless you're a local. Place looked closed when we arrived, but we walked inside and a gentleman offered to feed us! Wow! He was very nice and spoke some English. House red wine was good, food was also good ... although be prepared for some home cooking! If you speak Italian, call first to see if he's open. If you don't speak Italian, good luck to you :-)
