Abbiamo trovato il posto molto confortevole, personale molto gentile e le portate con un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo In 4 abbiamo preso 6 portate (2 primi 4 secondi), mezzo litro di vino della casa, 2 bottiglie di acqua e 4 caffè spendendo 90 euro. Gnocchi all'ossolana buoni, stinco e arrosto ottimi e peperonata squisita. Personalmente la porzione di gnocchi l'avrei preferita più abbondante perché erano buoni. We stopped today after a walk to the Alpe dei cavalli lake. We found the place very comfortable, very friendly staff and courses with an excellent quality / price ratio. In 4 we took 6 courses (2 first 4 seconds), half a liter of house wine, 2 bottles of water and 4 coffees for 90 euros. Good ossolana gnocchi, excellent shank and roast and exquisite peperonata. Personally I would have preferred the gnocchi portion more generous because they were good.

Se però si chiede un aperitivo propongono un tagliere e in quel caso effettuano servizio al tavolo come se fosse un normale antipasto.. posso ancora accettarlo. Ci arriva al tavolo un bellissimo tagliere con prodotti di qualità, su questo nulla da dire. La batosta è arrivata con il conto: 4 birre, coperto e 2 taglieri per 4 persone (il primo aveva tutto contato quindi ne abbiamo preso un altro) per un totale di 74€!! Tutto molto buono ma sicuramente NON TORNEREMO. Tre stelle solo per la qualità. This restaurant does not provide table service for the bar part, and so far so good. However, if you ask for an aperitif, they offer a cutting board and in that case they serve at the table as if it were a normal appetizer .. I can still accept it. A beautiful cutting board with quality products arrives at the table, nothing to say about this. The blow came with the bill: 4 beers, cover charge and 2 cutting boards for 4 people (the first had everything counted so we took another one) for a total of 74 € !! All very good but we will definitely NOT BE BACK. Three stars for quality alone.

Abbiamo mangiato dentro, ma si sarebbe stati bene anche fuori: nonostante sia autunno, la zona dei tavoli è scaldata dal sole e riparata dal vento. Il territorio circostante è una meraviglia! We ate very well and the lady was very kind. We ate inside, but it would have been nice outside too: despite it being autumn, the table area is warmed by the sun and sheltered from the wind. The surrounding area is a marvel!

Il secondo con polenta e spezzatino di cinghiale era davvero squisito. A Cheggia non potete che fare tappa in questo ristorante. Si conclude con una torta della nonna come si faceva una volta. Excellent post trekking lunch. First and second courses that respect the local tradition and brought us back to the "grandmother's" house. The second with polenta and wild boar stew was really delicious. In Cheggia you can only stop at this restaurant. It ends with a grandmother's cake as it once was.

Prezzi nella media, rispecchiano la qualità dei piatti proposti. Exquisite food and a very warm welcome. The gnocchi with toma are highly recommended, really good. Very kind and very nice owner. Average prices, reflect the quality of the dishes on offer.

La polenta la fa da padrona, viene accompagnata da ottime carni. Il tagliere con ottimi salumi e formaggi! Buone proposte anche tra i primi piatti. Se passate da quelle parti vi Consiglio di andarci.... E non ultima, la gentilezza del personale! Ottimo ristorante! Located in Cheggio, very close to the ski slopes, it offers a series of delicacies of the Ossola gastronomy. Polenta is the host, it is accompanied by excellent meats. The platter with excellent meats and cheeses! Good proposals also among the first courses. If you pass by there I recommend you to go there .... And last but not least, the kindness of the staff! Great restaurant!
