★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food is good, price is fair (although 2€ per person for service is a ripoff, as the service is extreeeeeemely slow). Don't bother with english or any other language, it's a no-go.
Would recommend - for the food - but you can easily go elsewhere too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to Comacchio eel festival but decided to have lunch in centro storico because of long queues at the festival spot. Although we had to wait for about half an hour to get our table (all the restaurants were overcrowded) food was worth waiting. Grilled eel was great, pasta dish was quite simple but tasty. Decent house wine and coffee, yummy desserts. Service was a bit slow but this was probably due to the festival crowds. Nice view and atmosphere.

Canocchie were fresh though we got just 4 each...cud have been more generous. fried fish good. staff very competent and kind. the ambience is phenomenal, big room with lots of interesting pictures hung on walls.
