La piazza con la chiesa dedicata all'apostolo e i locali che fanno da cornice ricordano da lontano quello che era il rione popolare e operaio di Trieste, ora abitato anche da una folta rappresentanza balcanica. Traffico veicolare sempre intenso, sarebbe auspicabile un semaforo x pedoni angolo v. Industria. Piazzale attorno alla chiesa animato, specie nei giorni di mercato. Buoni i negozi e bar, bus e servizi. Good old quarter, the old wash house a pity that it is not open more often. B	Bremiere on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho veramente apprezzato il free-wifi che ha richiesto solamente 30 secondi per l'accesso. Per il resto la piazza è molto bella nella fascia d'orario 8-19. Dopo le 19 inizia a girare gente strana da cui è meglio stare alla larga. Del resto i bambini che giocano a pallone e vanno in bici fanno molta allegria anche se devono essere più attenti... C'é un parcheggio a pagamento interrato sotto la piazza. La piazza è bella grande per i bambini e c'é un piccolo parco giochi vicino la chiesa. Per gli amanti della bici da San Giacomo parte la ciclabile Cottur che porta fino al confine con la Slovenia. Beautiful neighborhood a few kilometers from the city center. There are many businesses and many bars with outdoor seats. There is a paid underground parking under the square. The square is beautiful for children and there is a small playground near the church. For bike lovers, the Cottur cycle path leaves from San Giacomo, leading to the Slovenian border.
