Riofavara Relais **** is a welcome quality in 'wine tourism (industry which has recently been recognized, with the Law of Budget, as a pure receptivity prestigious legal and tax status). Staying in one of three themed suites, enjoying the delicious wines of the Company, is to have the easy chance to visit a territory, that of southeast Sicily, offering a few minutes an incredibly beautiful sea, the beaches of Vendicari, of Santa Maria del Focallo, Punta Ciriga and Porto Ulisse. The exclusive natural local characteristics are the Bruno and Longarini marshes, "lakes" of brackish water separated from the sea only by sand dunes. The town nearest is Ispica, where some scenes of one of the twenty-year success RAI, "Montalbano", and almost sixty years ago the unforgettable film "Divorce Italian Style" (1961), director Peter germs, won the Oscar for best original Screenplay. Spaccafurnu, the name of the Sicilian city, offers very much to visit: religious monuments, such as the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Basilica of the Annunciation, and civilians, the Palazzo Bruno of Belmonte and former market on Corso Umberto, archaeological sites, Cava d'Ispica and the Force Park. The baroque town, Noto, Modica, Ragusa, Scicli, are only a few tens of kilometers, part of their architecture has been recognized by UNESCO World Heritage Site. If traveling in Sicily, in Val di Noto, a stay in Riofavara Relais **** will be a unique experience!

Excellent wine tasting, both the tasting itself and the wines on offer! Dear owners, especially Clementina, very well prepared and very sweet, she was immediately available. Thanks for the experience and the really great wines!

What a pity, the rooms are large and comfortable but the owners seem little involved (check in at 4 p.m. impossible because they left for the beach), the breakfast is very poor (brought back from a local cafe in cardboard, not matching, unlike according to the manager, at what we had requested), all for too high a price. I am responding here to the hotel's message 1 / We were certainly exactly 15 minutes late on the scheduled check-in time, which had by the way been brought forward by the host the day before our arrival and quite abruptly. There is a big difference between having a reception open all day and being available in the middle of the afternoon to hand over the keys. With regard to the price requested, a minimum of flexibility on the part of the host would not be too much, on the contrary. When we managed to reach her after a good half hour of waiting, she told us that she had only just left. Is it a reasonable way to treat customers to lie to them? 2 / The basic breakfast formula, which was never indicated to us except when we chose from the menu, only contains two pastries (which did not correspond to those we had requested), juice of fruit, coffee and an ice cream. We had requested two more pastries and were prepared to pay the extra, they were never provided to us - nor fortunately charged. We were therefore far from eating for lunch and dinner with the quantities requested, although the manager seems to have no embarrassment in judging the appetite of her hosts with irony on the Internet. Finally, I do not see how putting plates and glasses is not compatible with the sanitary protocol. To sum up, the structure is good, but the welcome mirrors the manager's response, austere if not unpleasant and insensitive to their satisfaction. For 190 euros per night go your way, you will find beautiful four-star hotels in a better location, with professional staff, a breakfast that does not come out of a vague bar / café but is homemade with a variety of products.

Amazing experience...Maximo y Marguerita are amazing hosts and the wine tasting with them made us feel and taste some of the passion of the generations dedicated to the art of producing exclusive, individual and carefully chosen wine personalities. And the place is gorgeous!
