★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic mountain refuge on the crest of a pass, built on the remains of Austrian fortifications. Staff are genuine and welcoming, accommodation is cosy and the food is tasty. Sunset from the top of the pass is spectacular, and the valley below is full of marmots.
