★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed at Rifugio Gardenacia during a six-day hike through the Alta Badia. Gardenacia was incomparable to any of the other rifugios that I stayed in; the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was remarkable, and our room was very comfortable. The dinner menu was far more extensive than any other that I saw throughout my trip. I would recommend Gardenacia to anyone who journeys into the Dolomites!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staying at Gradenacia was the highlight of our 7 day hut to hut tour. Beautiful view from our balcony to the Dolomites. The staff managed a full menu of meal choices, as opposed to many of the other refugios where it was fixed meal. The food was delicious! Most of all, we appreciated the welcome from the family owners. They truly love what they are doing. This was the best refuigio of our tour!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is nice. Staff with personality. Only thing is smokers are not secregated, thus your sitting down after a long walk only to breath in someone else's cigarette smoke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing place to stay overnight when you're hiking in the mountains. We had half board and could not believe how much food we were served or how delicious it was-we could choose what we wanted from a large menu. The rooms are large and some have their own balcony. We really felt spoiled staying in such a nice place so far up in the mountains.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice and cosy room, very clean and with beautiful view from the windows. The staff are really nice, and the atmosphere is comfy and fun. Dinners are huge and pretty good, the tagliatelle with ragu and cranberries is absolutely delicious!.
My fiance has celiac and the staff was very aware about gluten-intolerance and knew about gluten free dishes on the menu. They also double checked for every dish we ordered. There were a lot of gluten free options including gluten free pasta, but mostly meat and vegetable dishes (no gluten free bread).
Nice hiking options around and amazing views.
