L	Luigi Garasto on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tanta pace in questo posto, dopo una breve camminata a Frontignano, si raggiunge la seggiovia ed una volta arrivati al Monte Bove si entra in una nuova dimensione. Suggestivi spazi aperti, silenzio assoluto, brezza che accarezza la pelle (almeno in Estate ;-)). Il rifugio si chiama così per la vicina statua del Cristo omonimo con le braccia aperte che domina la vallata. Se la recensione ti è stata utile, clicca sulla manina, grazie. So much peace in this place, after a short walk in Frontignano, you reach the chair lift and once you get to Monte Bove you enter a new dimension. Suggestive open spaces, absolute silence, breeze that caresses the skin (at least in summer ;-)). The refuge is so called because of the nearby statue of the homonymous Christ with open arms overlooking the valley. If the review was useful, click on the hand, thanks.

La statua è rivolta a valle e sembra abbracciare tutto l'immenso orizzonte. Un'oasi di pace e serenità si irradia intorno. Il luogo può essere raggiunto tramite la seggiovia delle Saliere(ancora chiusa dopo il terremoto) che parte da Frontignano o a piedi dopo una scalata di media difficoltà seguendo o lo stesso tracciato della seggiovia o percorrendo il più suggestivo sentiero nel bosco che si conclude poco prima della rampa finale. Il rifugio invece è purtroppo ancora chiuso. The Christ of the Snows belongs to that order of works capable of transmitting a sense of profound spirituality. The statue faces the valley and seems to embrace the whole immense horizon. An oasis of peace and serenity radiates around. The place can be reached via the Saliere chairlift (still closed after the earthquake) which starts from Frontignano or on foot after a climb of medium difficulty following either the same path as the chairlift or along the most suggestive path in the woods which ends just before the final ramp. The refuge, on the other hand, is unfortunately still closed.
D	Daniela Davoli on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Partendo dal piazzale di Frontignano e procedendo a destra, sì giunge alla ormai seggiovia lasciata in disuso per poi risalire il sentiero che conduce fino al rifugio Cristo delle Nevi. La vista è mozzafiato. Starting from the frontignano square and proceeding to the right, you reach the now abandoned chairlift and then go up the path that leads to the Cristo delle Nevi refuge. The view is breathtaking.
