Ottimo per relax ed escursioni nell'appennino, consiglio di fare quelle guidate dal proprietario del rifugio. Da tornarci assolutamente The refuge is well managed and is located at the edge of the forest. Simple, excellent and abundant cuisine. Clean rooms and linens. Great for relaxation and excursions in the Apennines, I recommend doing those guided by the owner of the refuge. To go back absolutely

La guida poi super simpatica ed efficiente... La cucina veramente ottima (un applauso alla cuoca e un grazie di cuore per essere venuti incontro alle nostre esigenze.. Min ogni momento e in ogni situazione!!).... Sicuramente ci voglio tornare.... Mi manca la serata a mirar le stelle e voglio rifare il mini safari notturno!!! Voglio rivedere Bambi con la sua mamma :) What about this refuge !! Fantastic .... The place alone deserves a ten and praise ... Beautiful trails to do, breathtaking views !! The guide then super nice and efficient ... The really excellent cuisine (a round of applause to the cook and a heartfelt thanks for meeting our needs .. A	Agi B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho dato 5 stelle perchè titolari e personale se le meritano tutte, ci siamo trovati benissimo, non tanto per il prezzo onestissimo ma perchè è come essere in famiglia, gentilezza e premura sono impagabili, inoltre mia moglie è celiaca e sono stati veramente eccezionali. Certo è un rifugio quindi non aspettatevi un hotel, diciamo che le camere sono spartane, senza tv ma col bagno in camera anche se qualche piccola manutenzione andrebbe fatta, comunque il tutto non ha pregiudicato la buona riuscita della vacanza e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. La cena e la colazione sono abbondanti. Aggiungo che organizzano diversi trekking con guida molto preparata. Dal rifugio si arriva a piedi in paese in pochi minuti, c'è un sentiero che parte dal retro e, nel periodo giusto, percorso di sera, si potranno ammirare migliaia di lucciole. La strada per arrivare è sterrata abbastanza ripida ma si fa tranquillamente con calma, del resto è spiegato tutto molto bene nella email di prenotazione. Credo proprio che ci torneremo e approfitto della recensione per salutare e ringraziare in particolare Mattias per la sua disponibilità e gentilezza ma ripeto che sono stati tutti veramente dolci. I gave 5 stars because the owners and staff deserve them all, we had a great time, not so much for the honest price but because it is like being in the family, kindness and care are priceless, moreover my wife is celiac and they were truly exceptional. Of course it is a refuge so do not expect a hotel, let's say that the rooms are spartan, without TV but with the bathroom in the room even if some small maintenance should be done, however everything did not affect the success of the holiday and we were very satisfied. Dinner and breakfast are plentiful. I would add that they organize several treks with a very prepared guide. From the refuge you can walk to the village in a few minutes, there is a path that starts from the back and, in the right period, traveled in the evening, you can admire thousands of fireflies. The road to get there is quite steep dirt but it is done calmly, after all everything is explained very well in the booking email. I really think we will be back and take advantage of the review to greet and thank Mattias in particular for his availability and kindness but I repeat that they were all really sweet.

Abbiamo mangiato ottimamente. La cosa più importante per noi sono state le gite con le guide, molto preparate. Ci hanno insegnato tante cose in maniera simpatica, mai pedante o noiosa. Hanno gestito il gruppo numeroso e variato per età e capacità con molta competenza e professionalità. Consigliamo il soggiorno! We spent a weekend at the property, for being a refuge it is very comfortable, it has all the services. Clean and comfortable. We ate very well. The most important thing for us were the trips with the guides, very well prepared. They taught us so many things in a nice way, never pedantic or boring. They managed the large and varied group in age and capacity with great competence and professionalism. We recommend the stay!

Le camere sono confortevoli e il cibo è ottimo (merito della cuoca Maria!). Le escursioni proposte sono rigeneranti per il corpo e per la mente e soprattutto divertenti grazie alla guida escursionistica, Aldo, estremamente preparato nonché molto simpatico! Spending a holiday at the Casanova refuge allows you to be immersed in the nature of the Casentino forests, welcomed by kind and cheerful staff. The rooms are comfortable and the food is excellent (thanks to the cook Maria!). The proposed excursions are regenerating for the body and mind and above all fun thanks to the hiking guide, Aldo, extremely prepared and very nice!

Un piacere averci trascorso 3 giorni. In cucina la cuoca Maria si impegna a presentare piatti ben fatti, variegati e abbondanti. Si tratta di un rifugio con camere aventi il proprio bagno. La sua competenza e preparazione ci ha fatto conoscere ed apprezzare luoghi per noi nuovi. Il rifugio è molto semplice e spartano ma ci sono i bagni in ogni camera. Il cibo è ottimo e abbondante. La cortesia e la disponibilità non mancano. We spent a beautiful weekend in this retreat. Aldo accompanied us on all the excursions and visits in the surrounding area. His competence and preparation made us know and appreciate new places for us. The hut is very basic and basic but there are bathrooms in every room. The food is great and plentiful. Courtesy and availability are not lacking.
