The refuge is located in a place of great beauty surrounded by centuries-old beech trees and wild garlic meadows (in spring) a few steps away from the suggestive cave of the same name.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ex caserma forestale oggi è un rifugio adibito per alloggio ad escursionisti e campeggiatori. Viene gestito da ragazzi che ne curano lo stato e la manutenzione. Ottimo luogo per relax e pic-nic a contatto con la natura.

Former forest barracks today it is a shelter used for accommodation for hikers and campers. It is run by guys who look after the health and maintenance. Great place to relax and picnic in contact with nature.

It is a well-kept, usually closed, boyscout's refuge, where outside they built altar, lectern and cross to celebrate mass. I think that as long as few people have access to it, then it will remain so unvandalized. #boyscout #rifugio
