L’ingresso all'area è consentito solamente a piedi, lasciando la macchina fuori dal cancello, ma dietro autorizzazione, per particolari e comprovate esigenze, è possibile l’ingresso, da richiedere all’I.R.FE di Catania . Pioppi, cipressi, pini e principalmente molte e bellissime roverelle sono le specie arboree più diffuse che compongono la copertura boscata di questa località e non meno interessante è la composizione del sottobosco ricca di fiori multicolori, dai ciclamini alle margheritine, dalle ginestre ai cisti, ecc. In questo contesto ambientale è stata realizzata l’area attrezzata di Camisa allo scopo di consentire una sosta in bosco agli amanti della natura. La presenza di piccoli rifugi, di una area attrezzata molto ampia e la disponibilità di giochi per i bambini la rendono adatta alle famiglie. Per accedere ai rifugi occorre il permesso del demanio forestale, altrimenti occorre lasciare l'auto davanti al cancello di ingresso e percorrere un breve tratto a piedi. Migliorabile la segnaletica e il fondo della carrareccia che si diparte dalla strada Primo Flascio, tra Maniace e Randazzo.
