I suoi pezzi restaurati durano almeno altri 30 anni se non di più se seguite i suoi consigli e i suoi videocorsi su you tube o nel suo sito.
In buona sostanza se avete un pezzo d'epoca o un mobile con un legame affettivo, da Restauri d'epoca di Giovanni Consolo verrete soddisfatti in tutto con cortesia e professionalità.

Il merito principale è quello di dare una guida su come operare un restauro ben ordinato nei passi da seguire. Lo consiglio a chiunque si dedichi o si voglia dedicare al restauro. Se avrete modo di farvi restaurare qualche mobile per quelli che sono sono della sua zona ,riuscirete nell'impresa .
Oppure se vo capita di avere un mobile a casa che volete darle vita ,lui vi darà la giusta guida ,poiché molto bravo nello spiegare i vari passi.

Lui sa come riportarli indietro nel tempo. Il tavolo sul quale giocavo a carte con i miei parenti a Natale è tornato a splendere ed io mi ricordo quando ero piccolo. Giovanni Consolo sa il fatto suo. Ha il mestiere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il libro di Giovanni è fatto veramente bene, tocca tutti gli argomenti relativi al restauro di un mobile d'epoca, mettendo nell'ordine preciso tutte le fasi del restauro, che purtroppo molto spesso gli hobbysti e non solo non rispettano. Vengono riportati molti esempi di restauri fatti da Giovanni con allegati fotografici. Inoltre ha anche un aspetto romantico dato dai piccoli racconti personali e di vita dello scrittore e degli spunti emotivi che ci ricordano sempre che siamo tutti fatti di carne ed ossa, di emozioni e di sentimenti.
