f	fr vanilla on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner went out of his way!!! We came to Il Vicolo on our first night in Genoa. We had the most amazing pesto pizza ever and everything was so delicious. When we finished dinner, we asked the restaurant to help us to call a cab to our aiport hotel. After 20 minutes, the owner told us it was a very busy Saturday night and no cab was available. The owner offered his boys, Anthonio and Andrea, to take us back to our hotel on his own vehicle. He really went out of his way to make sure we got back safely. I can't say enough how much we appreciate his gesture and kindness! Best memory of Genoa :)

Don't let the entrance in a shady alley fool you: it's a very decent classy restaurant, and it's a lot bigger inside than it looks. They have about 50 different pizzas on the menu. If you're close, come and visit!

Owner and staff are very kind and they do speak English. Reservations might be needed since it seems to be very popular with locals. The restaurant accepts American Express as method of payment.

Menu is very vast: from burgers, through pizzas to sea food and local pasta! Everything is delicious and I would suggest spaghetti alle vongole or carbonara alla mare (with sea food). Super good! Prices are ok, maybe a bit above the average for the zone but pizza is from 6-12eur, pasta is 10-13eur and main dishes are 15-20eur. Local wine is good and cost just 2.5eur for a quarter of litter. Definitely recommending the place! Call in advance too book and... enjoy!

Service is casual, but all personal will pop up ask u if everything is ok, will take care of and as all great italian restaurants owner is allways on site. Pizzas or national local dishesh its ur choise, amazin desserts and I ll let u know more when I go back...
