The residence is beautiful but the road to get there is really an obscene road, we must hope not to cross any car arriving in the opposite direction otherwise ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Ort Toscolano ist schön gelegen, um Ausflüge in den Norden, oder Süden zu machen. Wir würden uns aber zukünftig für eine andere Unterkunft, oder besser gesagt, Organisation entscheiden.
Die Wohnung an sich ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet, der Ausblick natürlich atemberaubend. Der Lärm der Autos, Motorräder usw. eine Katastrophe bis spät in den Abend hinein.
Der Poolbereich ist schön gemacht. Die Poolgitter sollten unbedingt repariert werden! Keine Sonnenschirme, auch keine Möglichkeit einen eigens mitgebrachten aufzustellen. Ergo: keinerlei Schatten
All das, ok, ist zu verkraften, ABER!!!! Die Abholung des Schlüssels in Desenzano eine Frechheit. Ja, hätte man zuvor ein paar Reszessionen gelesen, hätten wir es gewusst, aber ich finde es ist die Pflicht des Vermieters dies bereits in den Buchungsinformationen zu erwähnen. Wir erfuhren es erst nach fixer Buchung. Man kann den Schlüssel bei Abreise auch in Salo abgeben, was aber eine ähnliche Katastrophe darstellt, da man wieder nordwärts immer im Stau steht.
Fazit: Unterkunft bis auf ein paar kleine Mängel im Poolbereich wirklich sehr schön. Aufgrund der Umstände um an den Schlüssel zu kommen bzw. wieder abzugeben, buchen wir nicht mehr über den Veranstalter.
The place Toscolano is beautifully situated for trips to the north or south. But in the future we would opt for another accommodation, or rather, organization.
The apartment itself is very clean, well equipped, and of course the view is breathtaking. The noise of the cars, motorcycles etc. was a disaster until late in the evening.
The pool area is nicely done. The pool grilles should definitely be repaired! No umbrellas, also no possibility to set up one you brought yourself. Ergo: no shadows
All of this, ok, is manageable, BUT !!!! Picking up the key in Desenzano was a cheek. Yes, if you had read a few resessions beforehand, we would have known, but I think it is the landlord's duty to mention this in the booking information. We only found out after a firm booking. You can also hand in the key in Salo on departure, which is a similar catastrophe, as you are always stuck in a traffic jam northwards.
Conclusion: Accommodation except for a few small defects in the pool area was really very nice. Due to the circumstances to get the key or to return it, we no longer book through the organizer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Service bei der Abholung der Schlüssel bzw. der Unterlagen war gut und unkompliziert, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Jedoch befindet sich das Büro wo man die Unterlagen abholt gute 45 min. weiter im Süden. Wir hatten das Zimmer im EG mit Blick auf den See. Die Aussicht ist wunderschön, vor allem vom Pool. Das Zimmer war sichtlich schmutzig, allem Anschein nach wurde vor unserer Ankunft nicht richtig gereinigt. Die Möbel hat auch schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Der Pool sollte unbedingt repariert werden, die Abflussgitter sind überall durchgebrochen. Man muss sagen, dass die Bilder einem mehr versprechen als dass was man vor Ort antrifft. Das schlimmste sind die vorbeifahrenden Motorräder, man hat das Gefühl man schläft neben der Autobahn, sehr laut und unangenehm! Die Fenster sind für diese Lautstärken nicht mal annähernd ausgelegt. Drei Sterne für die tolle Lage und den Service.
The service when collecting the keys or the documents was good and uncomplicated, the staff was very friendly. However, the office where you pick up the documents is a good 45 minutes. further south. We had the room on the ground floor with a view of the lake. The view is beautiful, especially from the pool. The room was visibly dirty, apparently not cleaned properly before we arrived. The furniture has also seen better times. The pool should definitely be repaired, the drain grates have broken through everywhere. You have to say that the pictures promise more than what you find on site. The worst thing is the passing motorbikes, you have the feeling you are sleeping next to the motorway, very loud and uncomfortable! The windows are not even designed for these volumes. Three stars for the great location and service.
