Una perfetta commistione tra due cucine e culture, da apprezzare soprattutto se si è vegetariani. Un posto assolutamente da provare! Very good! Restaurant with an exceptional cook with a big heart! La chef vi stupirà in pieno poi realizzando piatti non sempre così semplici,anzi,anche elaborati,sapidi e golosi. Nessuno può rimanerne deluso! Buona sia la cucina kucana che quella africama! Super consigliatissimo! A rightly informal place, with sweet and very kind staff. Upon entering you feel like you are in a real big family. The chef will amaze you in full, then creating dishes that are not always so simple, indeed, even elaborate, savory and greedy. Nobody can be disappointed! Both Kucana and African cuisine are good! Super highly recommended!

Si mangia benissimo, ho provato le palle del vescovo (dei ravioli ripieni) e il "satanello" (salsiccia aperta, con salsa piccante), tutto buonissimo. Per mangiare cibo africano, cous cous, o altro bisogna prenotare qualche ora prima (un paio d'ore prima). Buoni anche i peperoni cruschi. La torta ai datteri è molto buona, leggera e gustosa. Simple but essential decoration, compensates for the kindness and availability of the managers and the freshness of the ingredients. You eat very well, I tried the balls of the bishop (stuffed ravioli) and the "satanello" (open sausage, with spicy sauce), all very good. To eat African food, cous cous, or else you have to book a few hours before (a couple of hours before). Crispy peppers are also good. The date cake is very good, light and tasty.

Come primi consiglio le trofie di Orazio e gli strascinati con i peperoni cruschi. Ottimo anche il dolce al cocco di origine africana. Assolutamente consigliato! We decided to try the Lucan cuisine and it was a very positive experience. As a first tip, I recommend Orazio's trofie and strascinati with bran peppers. Also excellent sweet coconut African origin. Absolutely recommended!

Al Bistrot la cucina Burkinabé sposa quella Lucana, ma senza fondersi con essa, viaggiando su due binari paralleli e coesistendo perfettamente assieme. I piatti sono cucinati con la rusticità di una volta e serviti con sobria eleganza. Le porzioni giuste e i prezzi minimi fanno si che vi possiate alzare da tavola avendo provato tutto senza la sensazione di scoppiare. I proprietari sono amichevoli e aperti, il rapporto qualità prezzo senza paragoni. I piatti lucani ed africani ottimi in egual misura. Assolutamente consigliato. The place is simple and informal, but the welcome that the owners of this place give you is the sincere one of those who have something to share, and want to do it. At the Bistrot the Burkinabé cuisine marries the Lucanian one, but without merging with it, traveling on two parallel tracks and coexisting perfectly together. The dishes are cooked with the rusticity of the past and served with sober elegance. The right portions and the minimum prices mean that you can get up from the table having tried everything without the feeling of bursting. The owners are friendly and open, the value for money is unmatched. The Lucanian and African dishes are excellent in equal measure. Absolutely recommended.
