Relais Villa San Martino

This place is wonderful for people looking for a rest in a quite place with all the comforts. Room with jacuzzi, very nice spa with everything you could expect, high quality restaurant with locally sourced ingredients for a taste of this awesome culinary culture. Highly recommended

We just absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were always cheerful, polite and helpful. Our room number 109 was superb and the room was a junior suite with table and chairs so bigger than normal. Very good size with L shaped balcony with a little table and chairs. To be honest, the bathrooms had everything you could want but a little tired and some of the bath sealant needed replacing and the toilet flush was broken. Also the shower dial needed sticking back in place. Rooms are decorated with a lovely Italian feel and the whole hotel has been beautifully decorated. There is a safe as well. There is a large room for breakfast or out on the veranda which is quiet and peaceful. Actually everywhere was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was all you could wish for and more. Lots of cakes and buns, fresh fruit, juices, coffee, tea and even eggs and bacon if required. They will also get you freshly squeezed orange juice. Lunches good and you can even get a sandwich. Super dinner on the terrace or in yet another beautiful restuarant. Pool area has lots of sunbeds with towels either on the lawn, under the trees or in the sun on the paved area or under shadeclothes. There are two buildings being the hotel itself where we stayed or the annex which is in the photo. Did not see the rooms in the annex but looks good. The grounds are beautiful and lovely to stroll around. Green and lush and very beautiful. We will definitely be coming back here for a quiet relaxing holiday. Only 16 rooms I think they said so not overcrowded at all. Near enough by car to Arberobello with the Trulli houses and the stunning town of Matera and a mile away Martina Franca. Five stars for five stars mansion! Beautiful architecture! Magnificent gardens! Extraordinary services! I dreams to come back, because it's wonderful place for vacation or events! During the nights, the light's of gardens are awesome!

A beautiful place, clean and friendly staff. Great breakfast!

We had a very great stay at the hotel (3 nights) !! One of the selling points of this hotel is that the personnel is very friendly and service minded. The pool and garden is nice! They have a gym and spa as well (we used only the Gym). The gym is not very special but great to do some exercises so you can eat and drink the calories two hours later again;) Brings me to the following; The breakfast and restaurant for diner is good!! They have a wide variety of breakfast options (fresh fruits, porridge, egg dishes, croissants, musli, nuts, cakes etc.).. The menu for diner is good and are well prepared!! The personeel speaks English quite well which for us felt like a relief (for explaining that my pregnant wife could not eat everything). Furthermore, the hotel is nearby Martina Franca, Alberobello and Locorotondo. Great unique cities you have to visit. If you want to do a wine tasting; go to I Pastini. This is a well organised winery who gives also tours in English.

Very nice villa. Top waiters and waitresses. Excellent breakfest and diner. Nice pool with service. The only thing that was not so good was the airco in our room. It was too warm at night.

Myrna and me had a beautiful time in this fantastic hotel. The whole staff are very friendly and helpfull. There are Giuseppe and Tania taking care of the restaurants and services, they are the best ! Very professional and great knowledge Thank you very much!we will never forget
