We don't speak much, if any Italian and the proprietor came and translated and explained every single dish on the menu to us. We were able to walk in without a reservation in the evening, which was good too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a hidden pearl in this small village on Iseo Lake. It's a bit bar where you can have great drinks and also a restaurant with a short yet great and yummy menu. The service is impeccable and the staff really makes you feel at home. Pricewise it's the best in the area. Should pay a visit!!

The manager let us walk in on a Friday with no reservation and even allowed us to bring our medium size dog, which is a big plus for us as she hates being alone and is extremely well behaved. He made a great wine pairing for us and knew a good number of local wines. The menu is a bit short, but that is OK because the food was excellent. I had the pasta which was cooked well and had a very nice delicate flavor. The cheese was also great as a starter. I would recommend this spot for romantic dinners and to have a good chat with a friend - it's perhaps not the best for large groups or those with loud children.
