It was recommended to us by a Tuscan Wine Bar in NYC (Mi Garba), and they definitely knew what they were talking about. The grounds were gorgeous and the tasting room was so warm and cozy. Mary, one of the co-owners (?), is from the US with experience in Napa wineries, so she was able to give a unique perspective comparing Italian winemaking to CA wines. The wines themselves were FANTASTIC! I wish we could have brought back more! I would highly recommend a visit, or even staying at their agriturismo apartments if you get the chance!
R	Rob Edelman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Here's a wine tasting and cheese pairing trip you'll want to make time for. The vineyard is off the beaten path but once you arrive you'll be awestruck by its beauty. Some great reds, rose', and merlot. The tasting room is cozy by the open fire on a November day.

My (now) fiance and I did the wine tasting and lunch. Mary was especially helpful in helping orchestrate my marriage proposal at the vineyard! I highly recommend staying at Querceto and experiencing what they have to offer.

And pictures don't do this place justice - It's even MORE stunning in person. My stay at Querceto di Castellina couldn't have been more perfect. Even better, my WEDDING at Querceto was an absolute dream. I'm not a person that often uses "perfect" to describe something, but it was absolutely perfect, from the food, to the vendors Querceto provided to the magical scenery. Being one of the last places I contacted for my wedding, I couldn't have gotten luckier to stumble upon Querceto di Castellina - which is exactly what I did on what seemed to be my never-ending search for a wedding venue. The property was fantastic and breathtakingly beautiful. But the property wouldn't be made complete with out a wonderful family-run staff to take care of guests every need. Mary was a dream to work with from the beginning to the end! If you're planning on visiting the vineyard for an afternoon, I recommend you turn it into a night or two stay to really soak it all in. If you're looking for a venue with a magical intimate setting for any event or celebration - look no further Querceto di Castelina is the place!

In summer, they host monthly dinner events in the vineyard, which can also be booked for private events and weddings. Wine tasting available, either alone and with tour, or with a cheese plate or lunch.

We did a cooking course with the brilliant Laura. Worth every cent. We will for sure come back and enjoy more of their delicious wine, the tasty olive oil and to experience the beautiful nature and Italian towns all around. Thanks again for everything.

The staff is super nice, there Chianti is well balanced and the food was really good too. The view on the wines from the restaurant is stunning. I could not recommend it more. A recommendation we will give our friend and family without hesitation :)
