A	Alessia Famao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Affollato. Pizzerie Alla portata di tutte le tasche, comodo per famiglie con bambini piccoli e anche grandi poiche é attrezzato di un parco giochi. L'unica pecca é che essendo una zona molto residenziale i posti delle macchine è difficile trovarlo Crowded. Pizzerias Affordable for all budgets, convenient for families with small children and even large ones as it is equipped with a playground. The only flaw is that being a very residential area the seats of the cars are difficult to find
L	La via del mare on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È un bel quartiere ma purtroppo è proprio come tanti altri quartieri...sporchi non curato il parco giochi e di scarsa qualità. Tutto questo succede perché le molte persone "ma non tutte" non riesce a rispettare le normative dell'igiene, del rispetto, e della civiltà. It's a nice neighborhood but unfortunately it's just like so many other neighborhoods ... dirty and not maintained the playground and poor quality. All this happens because the many "but not all" people can not respect the rules of hygiene, respect, and civilization.
C	Cervello Cognizione & Educazione on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordinato, pulitissimo, il lungomare è una distesa incinta di sabbia bianca cin dune di sabbia dove d'estate spuntano i gigli di mare specie protetta. La sabbia fine dorata ampia strada in un mare sabbioso limpido e trasparente. Tanti locali dove prendere gelati, caffè direttamente sulla sabbia. Un posto incantevole. Sì può camminare per chilometri su questo lungomare tra palme e il profumo di mare. Neat, clean, the promenade is a pregnant expanse of white sand in the sand dunes where the protected sea lilies sprout in summer. The fine golden sand broad road in a clear and transparent sandy sea. Many local places to get ice cream, coffee directly on the sand. A lovely place. Yes you can walk for miles on this promenade between palm trees and the scent of the sea.

Il quartiere è stato poi ampliato con la costruzione di palazzine che si sono inserite nel contesto senza stravolgere l'aspetto urbanistico. La caratteristica del quartiere è la sua vicinanza al mare e la presenza di ampi spazi verdi. Girare in bici o piuttosto passeggiare a piedi è un vero piacere. Residential area of Gela, built in the sixties by ENI to house the workers of the enichem. The neighborhood was then expanded with the construction of buildings that were inserted in the context without upsetting the urban aspect. M	Michele Frangiamore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando negli anni settanta sono arrivato a Gela, il quartiere di Macchitella, nato per ospitare gli allora dipendenti ANIC, era davvero un altro mondo, il mondo che tutti volevano, sognavano e desideravano. Era organizzatissimo, in tutti i sensi. Col tempo le cose sono sempre più peggiorate. Ormai il verde è abbandonato e quasi distrutto. L'unica cosa che non è mai cambiata è la meravigliosa spiaggia, anche se poco manutenzionata rispetto ai tempi d'oro. È sempre un richiamo per tutti e, soprattutto nel periodo estivo c'è molta confusione e caos. Potrebbe essere rivalutata ma a volte manca il minimo senso civico che potrebbe davvero migliorare sensibilmente l'ambiente. When I arrived in Gela in the seventies, the Macchitella neighborhood, born to host the then ANIC employees, was truly another world, the world that everyone wanted, dreamed and desired. It was very organized, in every sense. Over time, things have gotten worse. By now the green is abandoned and almost destroyed. The only thing that has never changed is the wonderful beach, even if it is little maintained compared to the golden age. It is always a call for everyone and, especially in summer there is a lot of confusion and chaos. It could be re-evaluated but sometimes there is no sense of civic sense that could really significantly improve the environment.
