Ho rivisto il professore il secondo giorno dopo l’operazione. L’ unica cosa che mi ha detto: come va? Mi hanno richiamato dopo due settimane dicendomi di verificare i documenti per mettere in programma operazione. Io ho fatto molte operazioni, ho parlato con il chirurgo il giorno del ricovero, la mattina del ricovero, dopo l’operazione ecc… I only saw the doctor once, I waited about 3 hours after the appointment. I waited for the shoulder replacement surgery for about five months. I saw the professor the second day after the operation. The only thing he said to me: how are you doing? Ormai non camminavo più ma avevo molta paura dell'intervento di protesi.Subito dopo la prima visita il professore mi ha spiegato minuziosamente sia l'intervento sia il decorso . Una settimana dopo, l'operazione ,poi la riabilitazione.Oggi conduco una vita normale e se avessi fatto questo incontro prima mi sarei operata subito! Grazie ! I have to thank the professor and all his staff for life! I was no longer walking but I was very afraid of the prosthesis surgery. Immediately after the first visit the professor explained to me in detail both the procedure and the course. A week later, the operation, then the rehabilitation. Mi sono recata a visita dal prof Franceschi a gennaio 2022, con il ginocchio sx in condizioni disastrose. Sin dal primo contatto ho riscontrato cortesia, efficienza, competenza, umanità ed interesse vero nei confronti del paziente. Il Prof mi ha poi operata 2 mesi fa presso l'ospedale San Pietro Fatebenefratelli. L'operazione è andata benissimo. Sia Franceschi che la sua equipe, mi hanno seguita costantemente nei giorni post intervento aiutandomi a superare i momenti più difficili legati ai postumi dell'anestesia e soprattutto al dolore post operatorio. A 2 mesi di distanza dall'intervento, cammino senza stampelle e senza dolore, faccio scale , salite e discese. Continuo a fare fisioterapia per tonificare il quadricipite e sostenere al meglio l'articolazione del ginocchio. Desidero ringraziare di cuore il Professor Franceschi e tutto il suo staff per l'eccellente lavoro svolto e l'umanità dimostratami. I am a 51 year old patient with Rheumatoid Arthritis for 32 years now. I went to visit Professor Franceschi in January 2022, with my left knee in disastrous conditions. From the first contact I found courtesy, efficiency, competence, humanity and true interest in the patient. The Prof then operated on me 2 months ago at the San Pietro Fatebenefratelli hospital. The operation went very well. Both Franceschi and his team followed me constantly in the post-surgery days, helping me to overcome the most difficult moments related to the after-effects of anesthesia and above all to post-operative pain. Two months after the operation, I walk without crutches and without pain, I take stairs, climbs and descents. I continue to do physiotherapy to tone my quadriceps and better support the knee joint.
