Town held very well I would dare to say that its inhabitants have great respect for the place that hosts them, but unfortunately I think it is emptying I saw many shops closed

Ottima l'accoglienza x i camperisti, siamo centinaia, credo sui 500 camper.E x questo, un particolare ringraziamento xché un camperista contribuisce sempre a far "girare l'economia" ma non in tutti i Comuni viene accettato! Tante bancarelle enogastronomiche con prodotti del luogo ma anche tanti di Amatrice Norcia e Cascia. Poi le classiche bancarelle di abbigliamento e altro. Gnocchi da leccarsi le dita, ed ovviamente non possono mancare le regine della festa, le patate offerte tagliate a spirale su spiedini. Serata in piazza con vari artisti della Fondazione Lando Fiorini, presentata dal figlio Francesco. Ospite d'onore il maestro Amedeo Minghi che ci ha regalato alcune delle Sue poesie.
Complimenti al piccolo grande Comune di Leonessa! Torneremo ancora!
Excellent organization for the Potato Festival. Excellent hospitality x campers, we are hundreds, I believe in the 500 camper.E x this, a special thank you xcher because a camper always helps to "run the economy" but not in all municipalities is accepted! Many food and wine stalls with local products but also lots of Amatrice Norcia and Cascia. Then the classic clothing stalls and more. Gnocchi to lick your fingers, and obviously you cannot miss the queens of the party, the potatoes offered cut in a spiral on skewers. Evening in the square with various artists from the Lando Fiorini Foundation, presented by his son Francesco. Guest of honor was Maestro Amedeo Minghi who gave us some of his poems.
Congratulations to the great little town of Leonessa! We will come back again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leonessa is a magic place surrounded by massive mountains, and survived a number of earthquakes. Go to visit Pro Loco for any info you may need. Walk the silent and sunny streets of the village and have a nice meal. Fantastic day
