When you enter your code, push the button and if you do not hear it beep, you didn't push it hard enough. Code worked for 24 hours from 10am until 10am the following day for 23 euro. Walking distance was about 5 minutes to the train station. Great way to eliminate the stress of driving to cinque terra.

The lady on the intercom just said that we had to find a website and buy the parking place on the Internet. It was too much hassle, so we just parked a few streets over from the railway station for 0,75EUR per hour. It was cheaper, closer to the station and more convenient for our needs.

However, a bit hassle to go in and out due to security reason. Be sure to read all the instructions! There are check out time one at 10 and 12 o'clock in the afternoon. I am not sure if you can choose this, but we are automatically assigned to 10am.
