★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In origine era l'ex convento dei Domenicani già sede dell'Amministrazione Provinciale ed oggi della Prefettura . Posto in uno strategico della città , fin dall'origine l'antico palazzo cinquecentesco ha subito nel corso dei secoli diverse trasformazioni. L'ultima in termini cronologici è avvenuta dopo il teremoto del 1980 che lo ha danneggiato. La riparazione il miglioramento sismico sono avvenuti dal 1990 al 1996 a cura dello studio tecnico Conforti e collaudo dello studio Adriani associati.
Il salone, decorato con affreschi e stucchi dorati, nella volta porta gli stemmi nazionali , della provincia e della città di Ariano e di S.Angelo dei Lombardi. Uomini di governo e varie personalità sono stati ospiti del palazzo in occasione di loro visite alla Città. Oggi è uno dei palazzi più belli della città.
Originally it was the former Dominican convent, already the seat of the Provincial Administration and today of the Prefecture. Located in a strategic part of the city, the ancient sixteenth-century palace has undergone several transformations since the beginning. The last in chronological terms occurred after the 1980 earthquake that damaged it. The repair and the seismic improvement took place from 1990 to 1996 by the Conforti technical study and testing by the Adriani associated studio.
The hall, decorated with frescoes and gilded stuccos, in the vault bears the national coats of arms of the province and city of Ariano and S.Angelo dei Lombardi. Government men and various personalities were guests of the palace on their visits to the City. Today it is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city.
