★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forse sarà il periodo natalizio oppure la contingenzazione da COVID, ma l efficienza delle Posta centrale non è proprio il massimo.... sono dovuto tornare per ben due volte per ritirare un pacchetto in quanto il primo giorno i tempi di attesa erano lunghissimi (1 ora per veder scorrere poche persone avanti a me e sapere che avevo sempre 6 persone in attesa) mentre il secondo giorno i tempi di attesa di ritiro pacco sono andati meglio (40 minuti per fare scorrere 2 numeri avanti a me)
 Maybe it will be the Christmas period or the COVID contingency, but the efficiency of the central post office is not exactly the best .... I had to come back twice to collect a package as the waiting times were very long on the first day (1 now to see a few people scroll ahead of me and know that I always had 6 people waiting) while on the second day the waiting times for parcel collection went better (40 minutes to scroll 2 numbers in front of me)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Compared to the postale in Naples, this need to focus more on multi lingual services. Other than that, they provide a quality service. And, the assistance is really good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They are very helpful here. A postcard stamp is 2.20 Euro. This is the price in Dec 2017. To get service, take a number and wait your turn. If you are sending a letter it is .95 Euro and that will take it anywhere in Italy. It can be max 20 grams. A writing pen is about 4 grams.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went to pick up an Amazon package from this post office, as it is a pick-up point. After waiting 20 minutes for only 2 people ahead me in the line, the lady working there asks for my ID, and proceeds to scrutinize my passport.
I told her my last name, because I have a two-word middle name, and wanted to make things easier. She got my package and told me she won’t give it to me because the Amazon order didn’t include my middle name. I told her I’ve never had this problem before, but she just seemed convinced that she couldn’t release the package to me because I could be some kind of fraudster.
She walks away with my passport to talk to a manager, then makes a copy of my passport. She warned me the next time I wouldn’t be able to get the package if I didn’t write my full name. (Who on earth writes their middle name on an online order???)
She told me, “Se non *scrivete* tutti e quattro nomi...(etc)” I was particularly offended by this statement because she used the you PLURAL, even though I was alone. I’m pretty sure she was talking about “you”, as in “you foreigners with strange names I don’t understand” (I’m not European/white)
I ended up saying “grazie e arrivederci” despite being angry and appalled by her rudeness, and she just turned and stared at her computer, refusing to acknowledge me.
