★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo campeggio è stato una magnifica scoperta. Posizione straordinaria a picco sul mare con spiaggetta privata e tranquilla all’interno dell’Area Marina Protetta Capo Rizzuto. Se cercate il solito villaggio con musica fino a tardi, bambini che giocano dappertutto e spiagge bianche con file di ombrelloni certo questo non è il posto per voi; ma se, come noi, siete viaggiatori On The Road o Backpackers allora avete fatto bingo. È gestito da una famiglia gentilissima, è il luogo giusto per rilassarsi nella pace e al fresco (anche ad Agosto essendo ben ventilato), sulla spiaggia si trova anche un porticciolo per lasciare barchette e gommoni.
Questo campeggio ha avuto una lunga e bella storia e ora ha fatto il suo tempo, quindi certamente ha bisogno di un po’ di ritocchi, ma ha ancora un enorme potenziale e io spero che posti come questo possano continuare a vivere all’interno del marasma caotico della società moderna.
This campsite was a wonderful discovery. Extraordinary position overlooking the sea with private and quiet beach within the Capo Rizzuto Marine Protected Area. If you are looking for the usual village with music until late, children playing everywhere and white beaches with rows of umbrellas, this is certainly not the place for you; but if, like us, you are On The Road or Backpackers travelers then you have bingo. It is managed by a very kind family, it is the right place to relax in peace and in the cool (even in August being well ventilated), on the beach there is also a small port to leave boats and dinghies.
This camp has had a long and beautiful history and has now had its day, so it certainly needs a little tweaking, but it still has enormous potential and I hope that places like this can continue to live inside the chaos chaotic of modern society.
