★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Località Marinara caratteristica, la timpa le fa fa cornice. Nel mare di Santa Maria la scala sbocca il fiume sotterraneo Aci, pastorello innamorato di una ninfa, protagonista del mito di Aci e Galatea di cui ci racconta Ovidio ne " le metamorfosi".
Characteristic Marinara, the timpa makes it a frame. In the sea of Santa Maria the staircase leads to the underground river Aci, a shepherd boy in love with a nymph, protagonist of the myth of Aci and Galatea of which Ovid tells us in "the metamorphoses".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ideal para pasar una velada tranquila y apacible. Hay dos restaurantes con terraza y un servicio muy atento con los comensales, al menos en temporada baja. Te puedes dar un baño no muy lejos, a unos 5-10 minutos de paseo.
Ideal to spend a quiet and peaceful evening. There are two restaurants with a terrace and a very attentive service with diners, at least in low season. You can take a bath not far away, about a 5-10 minute walk.

Very suggestive place, excellent for winter and summer walks. The water is not very clean because of the pollution of the pleasure boats even if you see many people stop to bathe. It is a nice place to take a walk anyway

They would be an enchanting place but the lack of cleanliness, order, signage, services makes it a neglected place, especially in hot periods. Avoid Sundays and summer evenings, get stuck in traffic.
