Comfortable in the center, very kind and competent staff. The dock is well maintained both on the docks and green spaces, very clean bathrooms.

La vista del porto e dei pescherecci ci accoglie nel cuore di Caorle, uno dei luoghi di pregio del Veneto e indubbiamente una delle località turistiche più belle, pregne di storia, del nostro Paese. Era più bello al tempo in cui viveva ancora la Vecchia Pescheria, popolata delle sue voci e tradizioni, come l'antichissima vendita all'asta, all'orecchio, del pescato. Scomparsa, purtroppo, a causa di una dissennata speculazione edilizia e riorganizzazione degli spazi pubblici. Resta comunque da visitare, anche per rievocate i luoghi e le atmosfere che furono care ad Hemingway ("Di là dal fiume e tra gli alberi"), riprese in tempi recenti dalla canzone "La notte di Hemingway" scritta da chi, come lui, era di casa in questo pittoresco porto peschereccio e balneare Beautiful atmosphere. La sensazione sempre intensa si ripete, anche con le evoluzioni negli anni documentate dalle foto d'epoca. Recentemente ho scoperto in un ristorante in località Brian (da Andrea) una grande foto aerea di Caorle 1940 che mostra, con i limiti del tempo, cosa si trovava allora nell'area. Un percorso a ritroso nel momento storico e "come eravamo" ed oggi come è mutato. I have known the place for a long time and rediscover it every time I visit.
