Worth a visit if you're in Verona. Don't be Afraid to climb the tall steps to the top of the bridge. Amazing view of the river too.

The Castel Vecchio or Scaliger Bridge is a fortified bridge in Verona in northern Italy, across the Adige River. The segmental arch bridge had the largest range in the world at the time of its construction.

Very beautiful ancient bridge over a wide river. Great views of town and a connection to the other side of the city.

Very beautiful and romantic. I was literally the only person there. I went up close to the water, listened to some music and enjoyed the moment. Highly recommend. Strangely, not a popular place for tourists.

Nice medieval bridge, rebuilt after ww2, good for a walk, the walk path goes through Castelvecchio, free for public access, lovely views of the river. Not as impressive as other historical bridges, but ok to visit.

Looks like somewhere straight out of Game of Thrones. Museum is quite good loads of nice art and only €6 which also lets you walk the castle ramparts. Bridge is a continuation of the castle. Some nice views up and down river for Happy snaps.

The bridge retains a lot of its original feel - you can see the way it's supposed to protect the river and it keeps all of its medieval charm. As many bridges around the world, it boasts it's lover's locks, but in here they stay gates covering recesses to old windows, so in a very stable place with little chance of creating real structural damage. Being Verona, you can also find love notes on the walls and ledges, as in so many other places in the city. You can climb on the top part of the bridge for a beautiful view of the city and to make really charming pictures. What else can a tourist want?
