Da 22 anni esiste un progetto che prevede di innalzare la campata centrale del ponte per consentire la navigazione fino al ponte di Tiberio. Realizzarlo permetterebbe di collegare la zona turistica col cuore romano della città. La Lega Navale di recente ha ripresentato il progetto in Comune.
With the inauguration of the bridge of the Resistance, in 1961, the canal-port was interrupted. For 22 years there has been a project that plans to raise the central span of the bridge to allow navigation to the bridge of Tiberius. Realizing it would allow to connect the tourist area with the Roman heart of the city. The Navy League recently re-presented the project in the Municipality.
