The nurse told me to be waited for at least 8 hours. Therefore I preferred to take rest at home and leave away. Some of the nurses have not a good manner. Just for information I have waited about 20 minutes while there was no one in the queue. The problem was the nurses were very busy in talking themselves.

Really sad to put 1 star because they are not even worth for 1 star. We went for an emergency for jaw pain but the staff at reception is not at all agreeing its an emergency. After explained couple of things she again denied to normal and very least priority tag. We waited almost 6 hours but who came after us met doctor immediately - they had same green tag. Intentionally she put us in least tag. When we asked at 5th hour she is taking really rude. Hospitals and medical fields like garbage here. They are giving priority if they speak their language. Please don't keep such employees who looks partiality . Someone please tell me how to complaint this hospital.

It is clean, but emergency is busy and not well organised, spent 7 hours to take medicine for vomiting that takes 2 mins. Staff are not enough. I don't recommend this place except if you wanna spend the whoooooole day there.

Horrible place! Ignored us when my boyfriend almost passed out, didn’t even give us chairs to sit on. The crew is horrible and not empathetic in any way. They left my boyfriend in a hall alone, and ignored when he needed help, I was not there because of covid protocol. Didn’t let us know his blood test results unless he will wait hours for a doctor. So they just let us leave. Horrible and we will never ever recommend you to go there. You should be ashamed.

I cannot praise Policlinico di Milano enough, they are first class all the way, from doctors to nurses, assistant nurses and all remaining staff. They saved my husband's life and looked after him not only in the most professional manner but they have also done everything in their power to make him feel comfortable and loved during the 10 days he remained at hospital. This is what happened. My husband is 85 and was not well for a few days and getting worse every day but was reluctant to go to hospital especially in a foreign country (and I mean no disrespect). When we arrived at the ER he was seen immediately by a team of doctors and nurses, the main doctor asked me about his health in great detail and whether he had any allergies. They performed a number of tests which took all in all about 4 hours and during that time several members of the team came out to update me. When all the results were out, the main doctor very kindly explained to me my husband had acute respiratory failure, sepsis and pneumonia so she had to keep him in the ICU for a few days and most certainly he would need to stay in hospital for 7 to 10 days. I returned the next day and was allowed to see him for about one hour and I must stress I had to show my COVID vaccination pass and also wear full PPE. During his stay at Policlinico every single week day I received a call from the doctor in charge on my French mobile to update me about my husband's progress and we spoke about 20-30 minutes each time, I never felt they were trying to rush the call, quite the opposite. Furthermore, doctors were always extremely polite, kind and comprehensive in their updates. My husband was transferred from the ICU two days after admission at the ER and stayed in a shared room for a further 8 days and I got to visit every day for one hour wearing full PPE. Again, the hospital team was outstanding, competent, professional and terribly kind and that includes doctors, nurses, assistant nurses, cleaning staff and all others. They all made an effort to speak English with my husband (who does not speak Italian) and myself. Nothing at all was ever too much trouble for the team, down to one marvellous lady washing my husband's underwear! I am so sorry I did not get the names of anybody apart from Dr. Valeri Melli and Dr. Alice de La Torre but I am forever grateful to every single person who looked after my husband. As for the room itself it was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The only negative point was the food which was not good but that was not a problem as I was allowed to bring in his daily meals. As a final comment, I would not hesitate to recommend Policlinico di Milano to anybody, Italian or foreigner. THANK YOU !!!!!
