★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A Chiusi della Verna, ai piedi del Santuario della Verna, c’è la Podesteria di Michelangelo dove il giovane Michelangelo al seguito della famiglia annotò su un disegno il paesaggio che poi riprodusse nella Cappella Sistina per la Creazione di Adamo

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un tempo la Podesteria era tutta un'altra cosa: c’erano eventi, attirava turisti e artisti (ricordo quando fu ospite Katia Ricciarelli), era interamente visitabile e molto frequentata.
Oggi è chiusa. Viene aperta saltuariamente per ospitare qualche mostra. L’ambiente fuori è trascurato, spoglio: non c’è un cartello, un pannello che indichi di che luogo si tratti, che racconti una storia. Di nuovo, spiace vedere che il percorso michelangiolesco non venga valorizzato e che non si riesca a cogliere l'importanza di luoghi come questi.
Once the Podesteria was quite another thing: there were events, it attracted tourists and artists (I remember when Katia Ricciarelli was a guest), it was entirely open and very popular.
Today it is closed. It is open occasionally to host some exhibitions. The environment outside is neglected, bare: there is no sign, no panel indicating what place it is, telling a story. Again, sorry to see that Michelangelo's path is not being exploited and that it is not possible to grasp the importance of places like these.
