★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Podere Capitignano is a great place! Our family spent there an amazing time. We stayed in La Fattatoria - this house has everything you'll need and is so beautiful and clean. The view from the swimming pool is breathtaking. We wished we could stay longer and now we're thinking of when we can come back there. I recommend it sincerely, you will be more then happy in Podere Capitignano!

Not that good for trips to chianti or florence since it's quite a drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: Like a slice of heaven!! No words or pictures can describe how amazing the view is! This place is something amazing!! The staff are so lovely and welcoming!! Piero is the nicest and most helpful person you will EVER meet!! You are welcomed like family!! This place is a must for anyone travelling the mugello region. If travelling to the MotoGP this place overlooks the track and is an easy 15-20min drive, so definately a winner!.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Positive: The location is fabulous. Calm, relaxing, beautiful views. The swimming pool with the view on the countryside is simply stunning. If you don't mind driving a bit, it's also relatively close to Florence and other historic cities/towns, there are plenty of simple restaurants with great food around. Those recommended by the host were indeed very nice. Pierro, his family and other people living on the farm were all very helpful and nice and willing to go an extra mile to meet our requests. We had a very good time, enjoyed it a lot and would consider coming back again.. Negative: The garbage containers in front of Capanna house could be organised somewhat better I guess. On some days it was a bit unseemly. Perhaps building a small wooden shed around them (or move them under the trees) would help?.
