★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von Mussolini errichtete Panzersperren auf 2000m auf der Hochebene Plamort. Ragen wie Drachenzähne aus der sumpfigen Wiese. Toll!
Built by Mussolini tank barriers at 2000m on the plateau Plamort. Rise like dragon teeth from the swampy meadow. Great!

Between Reschen and Graun near the houses of Arlund, began
the driveway to the former military road and screwed initially
Lined by larch forests, up to the Plamord - Höhenplatte (2025m).
Incredible views of the Reschensee and the Ortler opened up.
It was a few years ago when you could still drive up with the four-wheel drive.
Today unthinkable for environmental reasons and also prohibited by state law.
Hike up or by bike is extremely rewarding.

We parked near the Resia sports field. From there we took the path that leads to the Passo Resia barrier. In the vicinity of the source of the Adige we already see a first bunker. We begin to walk the path which is wide, practically a farm, with constant climbs and short flat stretches. After about 2 hours we reach Plamord, with various bunker remains and the so-called "dragon teeth" built to prevent a possible invasion of Italy .
We walk along the whole barrier until we reach large stones in the shade, to eat sandwiches. Then we start to visit other bunkers that are nearby and reach - to the right of the barrier - a clearing with a group of wild horses and the beautiful viewpoint on Lake Resia. At the edge of the clearing, there is a boulder on which everyone climbs (many raise their bikes) to be photographed with the beautiful panorama behind them. Recommended.
Return to the parking lot, passing in the upper part through another path - which then joins the path taken in the morning.
The only flaw along the way there are no fountains, and in fact, upon returning, we were left without water ......
