★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ci era stato segnalato come ristorante con prodotti genuini ed a prezzi abbordabili invece è stata una autentica delusione, oltre ad aver mangiato prodotti da supermercato (funghi porcini congelati, affettati e sottoli,) le tagliatelle ai funghi porcini che doveva essere il pezzo forte della casa, scialbe, con acqua di cottura e con misto funghi congelati nonostante il periodo di raccolta, ma la botta finale è stato il conto, 25€ a testa per un antipasto classico(affettati e sottoli) ed un primo piatto orribile a dir poco più un imbevibile vino della casa, un ristorante, pardon trattoria, assolutamente da evitare.
It had been reported to us as a restaurant with genuine products and at affordable prices instead it was a real disappointment, in addition to having eaten products from the supermarket (frozen porcini mushrooms, sliced and in oil,) the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms which had to be the highlight of the house , dull, with cooking water and mixed frozen mushrooms despite the harvest period, but the final hit was the bill, € 25 each for a classic appetizer (cold cuts and pickles) and a horrible first course to say the least more a undrinkable house wine, a restaurant, sorry trattoria, absolutely to be avoided.

Una volta una persona mi disse che il ristorante più buono è quello dove quando ci vai è coma essere invitato a casa da un amico che ha la moglie che cucina bene. Ecco questo è proprio il caso de LA RUGA. Cibo assolutamente genuino, realizzato con prodotti del luogo allevati/coltivati/raccolti sul posto e dal titolare. La cucina è assolutamente tradizionale e ripropone sapori che vengono dal passato di quel territorio. Il titolare, sua moglie (la cuoca) e la figlia sono gentilissimi ed ospitali: con loro vi sentirete subito a casa. Infine una notazione sul clima : a 15 minuti dalle spiagge di Soverato troverete un freschetto gradevole e perfetto per gustare i loro piatti squisiti.
I have known this exceptional trattoria for 20 years. Once a person told me that the best restaurant is the one where when you go it is like being invited home by a friend who has a wife who cooks well. Here this is precisely the case of LA RUGA. Absolutely genuine food, made with local products raised / grown / collected on the spot and by the owner. The cuisine is absolutely traditional and proposes flavors that come from the past of that territory. The owner, his wife (the cook) and his daughter are very kind and hospitable: with them you will immediately feel at home. Finally, a note on the climate: 15 minutes from the beaches of Soverato you will find a pleasant and perfect coolness to taste their exquisite dishes.
