★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was a bit of a sceptic at first due to the moderate but old reviews. First of all the service is fabulous even when the place is very busy. Staff was friendly. I do not speak Italian (Not yet :)) and they where very patient and answered all my questions. They have a very nice and well priced selection of wines. The pizzas are mode in a wood fired oven!. And taste fabulous. This evening I tried to pizzas. First a Pizza frutti di mare which was not brilliant. The fish was fresh but there was too much tomato sauce. No garlic just a little of fresh parsley.
The second pizza with cured ham and canned black truffles (Not fresh!) was very nice with Buffalo mozzarella. The pizza was well executed with just enough ingredients. All together this is a very nice pizzeria with friendly staff. Thank you pizza Del Ponte for a nice meal. The bottles of wine start at 10 euros.The wine I chooses wine was 25 euros for a wonderful 2008 Santo Politto from Tuscany (Syrah & Merlot blend) more

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good pizzas, bad stuff! The waitress was always running away each time we tried to ask info about the dishes. After calling her for ordering the dessert, passed 5 minutes of waiting with her doing nothing else we left

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Among our top three Pizzaria's in Genoa (been here 6 years) thay produce such a perfect base and use such high quality ingredients. The restaurant menu is also pretty varied and equally Great. The service here is proper restaurant.
