★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What-you-are-looking-for hut with very authentic staff and a life-saving owner. Food was great and so are the views. Perfectly remote with swimmable pond close by.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude personal, lacking of mountaineering spirit. The bad weather of the day left the route full with snow and we wanted to have some snacks in a safe place before going our way to other refuge. (Probably) The owner shouted nonsense at us and even asked for money for the table we were using while nobody of their guests was a actually using them. We told him that it was no problem to pay him and he was still really rude to us. It's a pity that something like this happens in the mountains, were a little more understanding and brotherhood should be needed and not being there just for the business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Some of the staff is not nice to interact with, though some are lovely! the breakfast is poor value. For 12 euros you will get three small slices of bread and three half slices of cold cut ham. Bring your own breakfast, but dinner is much better and better value! Shower is 3 euros for 5 minutes. Beds are comfortable but dorms have like 25 people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I wish I could rate this refuge 6 stars or more, because beyond the jaw-droppingly beautiful setting, the staff are fantastically warm, helpful and welcoming. Great food (I wish more huts offered breakfasts as tasty, healthy and nourishing) - and a setup that covers all a hiker's needs and more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic, family owned mountain refuge. Cozy dining room. Quite a lot of options in the bar for a well deserved reward.
To me it seemed the big outside terrace is facing the wrong way (towards the mountains instead of the view) :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hospitality and kind staff here. We spent x2 great nights at this alpine hut. Food wa the best I've had in Val Gardena refugios and the service was amazing

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely refugio set in a really stunning area. Had a great climb up and down on the via ferrata, and the hike looks like a good one too. Staff are super friendly, its a great place for a lunch break or to stay overnight
