A place you need to go to when visiting Milan I was quite surprised with the masterpieces displayed (from Mantegna’s Cristo Morto to Canova’s Napoleon, to Hayez’s Il Bacio and many more including Caravaggio, Piero della Francesca, Modigliani and more) I really appreciated the “additional” paintings added to the normal exposition with the name “Art in plain sight” (the idea is the museum has much more in the archives they are not always able to show, so they give a chance to different paintings to be in “plain sight” with others) and also the possibility to see restoration happening, really cool There are different price ranges, but booking is mandatory to avoid large queues (you can choose day and time) and as under 25 (I think it’s not necessary to be an EU resident) the ticket is only 2€ and if you don’t have a guide, a strongly advise to purchase the audio guide, 5€ (I think you can plug also two set of earphones, so one audio guide in two is enough) On a side note, the Pinacoteca is (or should be) free entrance on the first Sunday of each month, like some other museum in Italy

It was nice but I think it's unfair that the reduced price is only for Italians and Italian students. Also, it's just my perspective, but I was not educated enough in artists and their paintings inside so I felt kind of just wandering around, recognizing few paintings here and there. If you feel that you're not so good with this part of art, then I would not go. It's just my opinion, though.

Worth Visiting if you are in Milan, in the locality of Duomo. Suggest booking it first online before visiting.

Worth the name and popularity. Some really nice pieces of work and the ambience is just premium. The color choices and lighting are amazing!

This is a must visit if you’re in Milan. The Brera area and architecture is beautiful enough but the art inside is breathtaking. You could get lost for hours in there. I highly recommend it.

I fell in love with this pinacoteca. There are lots of magnificant paintings of various styles, yet dominantly of Renaissance art. It may take 2 hours to finish the tour; however, it depends on how long one takes to admire the beauty of art.

The museum is worth a visit if you are into art. A lot of it is religiously themed however so take that into consideration. The building itself is very beautiful and nice to look around in. The upper floor is the museum consisting of around 32 rooms and the lower floor has facilities related to the art school. We spent around 2 hours in there although we did walk through the later part a bit quicker due to needing to be at the next museum in time.

For art lovers the best place to visit in Milano. Not particularly big, but nice collection of visual art mostly from Renaissance era. Very nice Caravaggio is probably the biggest highlight of the museum, but far from being the only interesting thing in the museum. Highly recommended. Crowds reasonable, but tickets need to be reserved in advance.
