★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Forse la più suggestiva Pieve che ho incontrato camminando sulla Via Francigena! Purtroppo l'ho trovata chiusa , ma vale la pena di ammirarla anche solo esternamente.
 Perhaps the most evocative Pieve I met while walking on the Via Francigena! Unfortunately I found it closed, but it is worth admiring it even only externally.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purtroppo solo vista dall'esterno, e questa è stata già una una magica esperienza. Un piazzale largo per la macchina ma pieno di cespugli e fiori, un bel panorama, una facciata dal sapore secolare, un giardinetto per il relax!
Unfortunately only seen from the outside, and this was already a magical experience. A large square for the car but full of bushes and flowers, a beautiful view, a facade with a centuries-old flavor, a small garden for relaxation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima questa Pieve di Santa Maria in Chianni , lungo la via Francigena a 1km dal centro di Gambassi. Nella stessa struttura vi è anche l'ostello 'sigerico' luogo ideale x la sosta e il pernottamento durante il cammino.
This beautiful parish church of Santa Maria in Chianni, along the Via Francigena, 1km from the center of Gambassi. In the same structure there is also the 'Sigerico' hostel, an ideal place to stop and stay overnight on the way.
