★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di stile bizantino, risale all'anno 549: è la chiesa matrice più antica di tutta la valle dell'acquacheta, dista circa 1 Km da Terra del Sole.Della costruzione originale, rimangono alcune arcate della navata centrale sorrette da pilastri a spigolo, un'antica vasca battesimale ornata di tre rostri, tracce di affreschi e una vasca sarcofago.
 Of Byzantine style, it dates back to the year 549: it is the oldest mother church in the whole valley of the acquacheta, it is about 1 km from Terra del Sole. Of the original construction, some arches of the central nave remain supported by corner pillars, a ancient baptismal font decorated with three beaks, traces of frescoes and a sarcophagus basin.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Antica pieve sapientemente restaurata in un bellissimo contesto di pace e verde intorno.Peccato certi giovani bighelloni castrocaresi passino i pomeriggi sotto un albero a lasciare immondizia sulle panchine di legno e pietra, a 2 passi dal bidoncino Dovrebbero vergognarsi loro (e i loro genitori...)Spero Dio li perdoni anche se sanno quello che fanno
Ancient parish church expertly restored in a beautiful context of peace and greenery around. Too bad some young castrocaresi bighelloni spend the afternoons under a tree leaving garbage on the wooden and stone benches, 2 steps from the bin. They should be ashamed of themselves (and their parents ... ) I hope God forgive them even if they know what they are doing
