A	Andrea on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Che dire, Salò è sempre Salò. La piazza permette una vista semplicemente stupenda su Lago e Monti, in inverno e primavera innevati. Ci sono alcune panchine e recentemente una gelateria poco distante , che forse mancava in passato (vicino alle poste). Tutta Salò comunque è stupenda What can I say, Salò is always Salò. The square offers a simply stupendous view of the lake and mountains, covered in snow in winter and spring. There are some benches and recently an ice cream shop not far away, which perhaps was missing in the past (near the post office). However, all of Salò is wonderful
G	Guido De Carlo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sirtuata all'inizio del golfo di Salò, a poche decine di metri dal centro storico e da un grande parcheggio, con una splendida vista sul lungolago si Salò. A destra, il lago, a sinistra le vecchie mura venete, risalenti al '600 e al centro un' ampia aiuola verde, con panchine e olivi secolari. Al centro, un'alta colonna su cui è accucciato il simbolo di Salò, il leone alato di S. Marco che con una zampa sostiene un libro aperto. Se si è a Salò, è obbligatorio allungare la passeggiata sul lungolago per vedere la piazza. Una curiosità: lungo le mura venete, verso sinistra, c'è una piccola porticina a livello del lago. Serviva, nel '600 ai tempi della peste, per trasportare i malati in barca, attraverso il golfo, all' antistante lazzaretto, che si trovava dall'altro lato del golfo, senza fare attraversare agli appestati la cittadina su un carretto. Located at the beginning of the Gulf of Salò, a few tens of meters from the historic center and a large parking lot, with a splendid view of the lakefront of Salò. On the right, the lake, on the left the old Venetian walls, dating back to the 17th century and in the center a large green flowerbed, with benches and centuries-old olive trees. In the center, a high column on which the symbol of Salò is crouched, the winged lion of St. Mark which with one paw supports an open book. If you are in Salò, it is mandatory to lengthen the lakeside promenade to see the square. A curiosity: along the Venetian walls, to the left, there is a small door at the level of the lake. It was used, in the 17th century at the time of the plague, to transport the sick by boat, across the gulf, to the hospital in front, which was on the other side of the gulf, without allowing the plague victims to cross the town on a cart.
