★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ieri dopo troppo tempo sono tornato in quello che è il mio paese d'origine. Purtroppo con la pandemia non ci mettevo piede da più di un anno. Per me è sempre bello tornarci. Piazza San Giacomo è da sempre l'agorá del paese. Purtroppo con la zona rossa non mi sono potuto fermare a salutare i vecchi amici. Ci sono andato in bici percorrendo da Rocca di caprileone la vecchia provinciale passando sul suggestivo ponte a tre archi per poi raggiungere San Salvatore di Fitalia ed infine Galati Mamertino e ritorno. È un giro molto bello ma impegnativo. Sono 20 km di salite con un dislivello di 850 mt sul mare. Se non si è discretamente allenati non lo consiglio.
Yesterday after too long I returned to my home country. Unfortunately, with the pandemic, I hadn't set foot in it for over a year. For me it's always nice to go back. Piazza San Giacomo has always been the agora of the town. Unfortunately, with the red zone, I couldn't stop and say hello to old friends. I went there by bike from Rocca di caprileone along the old provincial road passing over the suggestive three-arch bridge to then reach San Salvatore di Fitalia and finally Galati Mamertino and back. It is a very beautiful but challenging ride. There are 20 km of climbs with an altitude difference of 850 meters above the sea. If you are not well trained I do not recommend it.

The villages are a melting pot of details, a history of ancient crafts rich in manual skills and creativity. The wrought iron balconies are proof of this. An unknown and unrepeatable world!
