Condiviso dalle province di Treviso, Belluno e Pordenone, ha come direttrice di attraversamento principale la Strada dell'Alpago e del Cansiglio (Sp 422), che da Vittorio Veneto sale a Fregona (m 292), supera la soglia della Crosetta (m 1120) e scende nell'ampio catino di Pian del Cansiglio (m 1028), dove sono concentrate le strutture turistiche, proseguendo per Tambre (m 922) prima di affrontare la discesa verso Ponte nelle Alpi (m 397), nell'alta Val Belluna. Estratto da «Vittorio Veneto e le Prealpi Trevigiane» (Francesco Soletti, Touring Editore, 2016) Cansiglio is a vast plateau that characterizes the pre-Alpine arch on the border between Veneto and Friuli. Shared by the provinces of Treviso, Belluno and Pordenone, the main crossing route is the Alpago and Cansiglio road (Sp 422), which climbs from Vittorio Veneto to Fregona (m 292), crosses the Crosetta threshold (m 1120) and descends into the large basin of Pian del Cansiglio (1028 m), where the tourist facilities are concentrated, continuing to Tambre (922 m) before tackling the descent towards Ponte nelle Alpi (397 m), in the upper Val Belluna. Ho apprezzato molto il panorama, l'aria pulita, un affollamento non eccessivo, ma soprattutto il profondo silenzio che si può "ascoltare", senza il sottofondo a cui normalmente si é abituati. I went with my family on a Saturday in August for a day trip. We went to one of the picnic areas and took a walk in the woods. I really appreciated the view, the clean air, a not excessive crowding, but above all the profound silence that you can "hear", without the background you are normally used to.

Adatto anche per bambini ,ci sono anche aree parco giochi. Excellent place for quiet walks, picnics, also offers the golf course! Camper van area and ample parking! Ideal area for trekking! Tuttavia, il breve percorso fatto, tra il Villaggio Vallorch e Villaggio Le Rotte è stato facile, sicuramente adatto a tutti. Paesaggio autunnale, da cartolina. Sarebbe stato utile qualche indicazione in più. Not being experienced hikers, we tried to follow the map, but with little success??. However, the short route taken, between Villaggio Vallorch and Villaggio Le Rotte was easy, certainly suitable for everyone. Autumn landscape, like a postcard. Some more indications would have been useful.
