★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suggestivo e trasudante di storia, il Pian dei Morti è un luogo da visitare se ci si reca nei pressi di Curon Venosta. A mio parere un posto davvero bello e diverso dai soliti spot di guerra. Sono presenti sbarramenti anti-carro armato e diversi bunker risalenti alla prima guerra mondiale, alcuni visitabili anche all’interno, altri distrutti a causa del crollo del terreno circostante. Il sentiero parte dal campo sportivo di Resia ed ha una durata approssimativa di circa un’oretta e mezza, tutt’al più in salita, fattibile per gli amanti del treccking! Numerosi i percorsi per le mountain bike.
Consiglio di portarsi il pranzo al sacco e di gustarselo nella pace della vallata una volta arrivati in cima ??
Evocative and oozing with history, Pian dei Morti is a place to visit if you go near Curon Venosta. In my opinion a really beautiful place and different from the usual war spots. There are anti-tank barrages and several bunkers dating back to the First World War, some of which can also be visited inside, others destroyed due to the collapse of the surrounding land. The path starts from the Resia sports field and lasts approximately an hour and a half, at most uphill, feasible for lovers of braiding! Numerous routes for mountain bikes.
I recommend taking a packed lunch and enjoying it in the peace of the valley once you get to the top ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easy hike up from Reschen but offers some nice views on to the lake and the Austrian side of the pass. We were lucky and able to see some deer.
