★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa di metà 1700, centro del vecchio paese di Gries (dal 1900 inglobato in Bolzano). Uno degli esempi più importanti di barocco altoatesino, è impreziosito dai dipinti di Martin Knoller. Al suo fianco vi è una abazia benedettina (dapprima palazzo principesco) e la famosa cantina vinicola (Muri-Gries).
Church of the mid-1700s, center of the old village of Gries (incorporated in Bolzano since 1900). One of the most important examples of South Tyrolean Baroque, it is embellished with the paintings of Martin Knoller. At its side there is a Benedictine abbey (formerly a princely palace) and the famous wine cellar (Muri-Gries).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ich war dort auf einer wunderschönen Hochzeit - der Priester bekommt 8* für die schöne Messe, die Kirche ist so aber auch sehr hübsch anzusehen! Definitiv einen Blick wert. ?
I was there at a beautiful wedding - the priest gets 8 * for the beautiful mass, but the church is also very pretty! Definitely worth a look. ?
