Il richiamo, è per la funzione che si celebrerà a breve, e anche noi ci uniamo all'andirivieni di persone che transitano nella piazzetta. L'abbigliamento è consono ad un giorno di festa, ci si dirige verso la Casa del Signore con educazione e rispetto. Qui, come negli altri paesi del Sud Tirolo, gran parte della comunità si reca a messa con i costumi tradizionali. Le donne stringono un mazzetto di fiori di campo che rende il loro incedere lieve e gentile. Il tempio, con il classico campanile allungato, è costruito secondo i canoni tradizionali delle chiese alpine. All'interno, la luce filtra dalle vetrate policrome e, nel piano rialzato, un magnifico organo a canne ruba la scena. Appena sotto, sono intagliati nel legno i volti di Gesù e dei dodici Apostoli. Dietro l'altare si trova un'antica icona della Madonna col Bambino, venerata dalla popolazione locale. Ora, però, resto in silenzio... si sta per officiare.
