★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima varietà ittica: dai crostacei al pesce azzurro si trova tutto: prodotti sempre freschi vista anche la grande mole di vendite. Personale molto gentile, preparato e disponibile. Ottimi anche i prezzi.
 Excellent fish variety: from shellfish to blue fish you can find everything: always fresh products given the large amount of sales. Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful staff. The prices are also excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Abbiamo acquistato del pesce il venerdì sera poco prima dell'orario di chiusura e quando i due ragazzi stavano già ripulendo e mettendo tutto a posto. Sono stati molto gentili e professionali. Il pesce era ottimo e fresco però abbiamo avuto una sorpresa quando abbiamo scoperto i prezzi (non più esposti sulla merce): pesce spada a 29€/kg ma, soprattutto, gamberi medi (10 gamberi 318g) locali a 79€/kg (!!!) sono prezzi che non si vedono nemmeno a Milano! Probabilmente abbiamo sbagliato a palesarci come turisti?
We bought some fish on a Friday night just before closing time and when the two guys were already cleaning up and putting everything in place. They were very kind and professional. The fish was excellent and fresh but we had a surprise when we discovered the prices (no longer displayed on the goods): swordfish at 29 € / kg but, above all, local medium prawns (10 prawns 318g) at 79 € / kg (! !!) are prices that are not even seen in Milan! Were we probably wrong to reveal ourselves as tourists?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pesce fresco e di qualità, lui esperienza da vendere e prezzi concorrenziali. Ti consiglia anche come meglio cucinarlo, e poi se cerchi prodotti del pescato particolari, è facile trovarli secondo stagione. Le boujot ( muscoli/cozze) piccole da sugo le trovo solo da lui quando è stagione. Ed ogni volta che cucino il suo pesce è una goduria del palato.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel Centro Storico di Genova non mancano le pescherie di qualità.
Davanti a questa, come per poche altre, c'è sempre la coda.
Il pesce è sempre fresco, di buona qualità ed inoltre i prezzi sono mediamente più abbordabili rispetto alla concorrenza locale.
Forse questa è la ragione che spiega le code infinite negli orari di punta.
Qualche volta le code sono veramente snervanti, perché spesso è il personale che indugia a chiacchierare con i clienti.

Perhaps this is the reason for the endless queues at peak times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased a fish after asking if it was fresh.. got a red bream which I didn't look at carefully enough (my fault) and got scammed. As soon as I got home I quickly realized the fish stinked, plus the eye was opaque and yellowish. Had asked the fishmonger to clean the interior which he did very superficially (most of the gut was still inside the fish and half the scales were still on the body) so I had to do a lot of cleaning at home before cooking. Not the type of service and quality you would expect from a local fishmonger in a seaside town. Will never return.
