Assolutamente da provare la frittura di calamari e gamberi e il condimento per gli spaghetti allo scoglio. Very nice fish market. Excellent value for money. They sell both fresh and cooked fish. They also have a few tables to eat at. Absolutely to try the fried calamari and prawns and the seasoning for spaghetti with seafood.

Purtroppo quest'anno la qualità non ha raggiunto minimamente quella degli anni precedenti....antipasti fatti con polipi e seppie sminuzzate nelle ciotole, almeno credo erano così sminuzzati da non poter distinguere quello che stavi mangiando....un fritto che di partenza dovrebbe essere di calamari e gamberi e poi ti ritrovi seppie e gamberi in un bagno di olio....in fine un primo piatto con tanta pasta e il pesce.... solo l'ombra.... Ma..... e mi rivolgo al proprietario...perché non fate un passo indietro? Ricordatevi che siete una pescheria e i clienti vengono da voi per mangiare del buon pesce fresco! Con il prezzo ci siamo ma ritornate alla qualità degli anni precedenti! Un grande in bocca al lupo! Hi, I have been spending my holidays in Strongoli for three years and have always had a nice evening at the La Cava fish market and have always found high quality and reasonable prices ..... but this year there is a MA! Unfortunately this year the quality has not reached in the least that of the previous years .... appetizers made with polyps and cuttlefish shredded in the bowls, at least I think they were so chopped up that they could not distinguish what you were eating .... a fried that starting it should be squid and prawns and then you find cuttlefish and prawns in an oil bath .... finally a first course with lots of pasta and fish .... just the shadow .... But .... . and I turn to the owner ... why don't you take a step back? Remember that you are a fishmonger and customers come to you to eat good fresh fish! With the price we have returned to the quality of previous years! A big good luck!

Servizio cortese e disponibile, buoni i vini proposti (aziende locali ma conosciute). Prezzi assolutamente equi. Unica “pecca” non ci sono dolci o caffè proprio perché pescheria. Location carina, una veranda a ridosso della spiaggia. Ci torneremo! Fresh fish, proposed in different typical local variations. The proposals are varied and it is pleasant to be able to taste the local fish in different ways. Friendly and helpful service, good wines on offer (local but well-known companies). Absolutely fair prices. The only "flaw" there are no sweets or coffee precisely because they are fishmongers. Nice location, a veranda near the beach. We will be back!

La quantità, qualità e prezzo nulla da dire. Confusion in the management of the order, we explicitly asked for fried rings only and we also found the tufts. Pesce ottimo e ben cucinato,ma davvero troppo caro. Too expensive for what it offers and above all no explanation of what the fixed menu offers and what the courses are. Excellent and well cooked fish, but really overpriced.

Sulla qualità del pesce non si discute però essere presi in giro con i prezzi (non esposti) solo perché non si è del posto è inaccettabile. If you are a tourist don't go there !!!!! Ho cenato in questa pescheria in una calda serata calabrese e stupisce pensare che si stia cenando semplicemente sul retro di una pescheria e non in un "vero e proprio" ristorante. Il servizio è stato molto cordiale e la qualità del cibo magistrale. Sono tornato a casa a pancia piena, felice e soddisfatto. Pescheria by day, restaurant by night. I dined in this fish shop on a warm Calabrian evening and it is surprising to think that you are simply dining at the back of a fish shop and not in a "real" restaurant. The service was very friendly and the quality of the food masterful. I came home with a full stomach, happy and satisfied.
